PENNE WITH PORK AND SWEET SAUCE WITH BEER

INGREDIENTS

(3 servings)

  • 300g Grecian Living penne
  • 130g pork
  • 20g red pepper
  • 20g green pepper
  • 25g pineapple
  • salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 50g Grecian Living beer
  • oregano, thyme

PROCESS

  1. Boil the pasta in salted water for 12 min.
  2. Drain and rinse the pasta and add some olive oil while stirring.
  3. Cut the pork in thin strips and the pineapple in small cubes.
  4. Wash the pepper and cut into thin slices.
  5. In a deep pan heat the oil and then add the pork.
  6. Cook for ten minutes.
  7. Add the pepper and cook for 3 minutes.
  8. Add the beer and cook until alcohol is reduced.
  9. Add the pasta , half a glass of water, honey, pineapple and cook over high heat until the sauce thickens.
  10. Remove from the heat, sprinkle with salt and pepper, oregano, thyme and serve.
