INGREDIENTS

(1 serving)

  • 1 Grecian Living hamburger roll
  • 50 g chicken fillet
  • 1 red bell pepper or arugula
  • 1 pineapple slice
  • 50 g haloumi cheese
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 50 ml white wine vinegar
  • salt, pepper
  • 150 ml olive oil

PROCESS

  1. Wash the pepper, discard the seeds and cut into thin strips.
  2. Cut the piece of haloumi cheese into 2 slices of the same thickness.
  3. Cut the chicken fillet in thin strips and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the haloumi cheese with a little oil until a crust is formed on both sides of each slice.
  5. Cook the peppers for 5 minutes and remove from the pan.
  6. In the same pan, cook the chicken for 10 minutes until golden.
  7. To make the honey sauce place the mustard, honey, vinegar, salt and pepper in a bowl and whisk together by hand.
  8. While whisking, add olive oil in a steady stream.
  9. To serve, cut the bread in two and heat it.
  10. Add the sauce, chicken, haloumi, pepper or arugula and pineapple.
  11. Serve with salad.

First cut the bread roll in two and then heat it on a rack in the oven or in the microwave or in the toaster. This helps to cut the bread more easily and activates its aromas.
